Fees and limits
The current production configuration accepts x402 orders from $25 to $250. The configured card load fee is 2%, and the spend fee is 3% per successful card transaction. Public card issuance is currently enabled.
Release configuration updated: 2026-07-14. The production public config is authoritative at action time.

How the amounts relate
The wallet settles exactly 25 USDC. VALUT issues the card with $25, then a separate idempotent withdrawal moves the $10 platform fee back to the VALUT master balance. The expected available card balance is $15. While the fee is pending, the active card remains available and the UI reports fee settling; failures report fee under review.
Availability gate
Even when public issuance is enabled, a new card or payment can be unavailable because provider terms changed or safe money/readiness gates do not pass. Agents and users should read the live public configuration immediately before an action.
